Lifelong Learning Week 2015

The official date of the 20th LLW was 15-22 May 2015, although traditionally, around half of the around 10,700 events took place in the extended LLW period, i.e. between 15 May and 30 June. Around 1,700 providers - mainly acting under the leadership of the 44 local/regional and thematic LLW coordinators - organised their events in line with several leading themes. The festival was marked by the third series of Learning parades - days of learning communities.

Adult Education Colloquium 2015

The 19th Adult Education Colloquium (AEC) - the most prominent professional event within LLW 2015 - took place on 16 June in Kranjska Gora on the theme 'I can, therefore I am'. Promoting adult skills. A constituent part of the event was the national opening of the Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe - EPALE. More on past AECs >>

LLW National Opening 2015

This year, SIAE joined forces with the Črnomelj Institute for Education and Culture (ZIK Črnomelj) to organize the LLW national opening on 15 May in the Bela Krajina region. Five new awards for the promotion of adult learning and knowledge were presented to outstanding individuals, one group and one institution. The opening coincided with the third Learning parade - days of learning communities. See photos>>
