Literary-theatrical group Tri gracije (Three Graces) from Ljubljana

The group Tri gracije, formed by dr. Marija Kalan, Vida Mehle and Štefka Orešnik (leader), enchant us with their serenity, creativity and constant readiness to delight people by their dramatised literary performances. This is how they have given the essence of their activity: "We started to give these poetical-theatrical performances because they delight us! Other our joy is giving pleasure to the elderly, especially those in the homes for the aged." The ‘graces' gained the literary knowledge with an independent literary activity in various periods of their lives. Nowadays they are active in the pensioners of Slovenia Literary club - LIKUS and in the society for education "Lipa (linden tree)" in Domžale. Within the University of the Third Age they have received many awards for their activity. Their performance is prepared entirely by themselves: they write the script, they rehearse, they choose the costumes and equipment, take care of the transport ... and, in spite of the troubles brought by their years, take care to enthuse the audience.
