Gill and Dennis Wraight from Belčji vrh

Dennis: »You've got to exercise physically and you have to exercise mentally, and this is important.«
Gill: »Very much so.«

Gill and Dennis Wraight exchanged London for Belčji Vrh, which they fell in love with the first time they saw it. First they created a new home, then they started to learn Slovene and discover our culture and history. Their presentations in clubs and schools and at cultural events, through which they bring two cultures closer together, enable us to get to know ourselves better. Everyone gains from intercultural cooperation, and they therefore stand as shining examples of intercultural dialogue and active citizenship. If they really do consider themselves Slovenes, this can only be an honour for us.
