The knowledge is on'Change!
The Learning Exchange in Ljubljana is an institution intended to bring together people who wish to learn something and those who would like to pass on their knowledge or message to others. The Oton Župančič Library provided the premises and a great deal of encouragement and its innovative nature, and numerous activities, events and presentations saw the Exchange grow into a fully-fledged information centre. The success of this project encouraged the development of other learning exchanges in Slovenia so that by 2000 there were already seven learning exchanges all working together across the country. Together, they are greatly contributing to the expansion of the movement for a learning society.
