The SLS network consists of seven countries: Estonia (project coordinator), France, Hungary, Ireland, the Netherlands, Slovenia and Turkey; we started our collaboration in autumn 2010.

The general aim of the project is to increase participation in adult learning through efficient networking and promotional campaigns. Meetings of professionals, volunteers as well as learners will enable the exchange of good practices, the establishment and empowerment of networks at international, national and local level as well as an increased involvement of learners in promotion, mobilisation and advocacy work.

There will be six meetings of national as well as regional and local coordinators carried out in the 2-year project framework. For the Slovenian coordinators' network this will be an excellent opportunity for enriching their work and paying tribute to their achievements so far.

The first meeting (of national coordinators only) took place on 18 and 19 October in Reims, France; its outcome is a detailed working programme. The second meeting took place between 19 and 22 February in Dublin, Ireland. The third meeting will be orgnanized between 11-14 May in Slovenia within the scope of the Lifelong Learning Week 2011.
